A2 Inburgering Exam Pass Guarantee

We're confident our program gives you everything you need to pass the A2 Inburgering exam (official A2 integration exam). If you complete the A1 & A2 course and still don't pass one or more parts of the exam, we'll refund 1/5 of your subscription price for each part you didn't pass, up to a full refund if you fail all five parts.

Who Is Eligible?

  • You purchased the full A1 & A2 Dutch course through our website
  • You completed every lesson in the A1 & A2 course. If we started you further along when you signed up, those earlier lessons count as completed too.
  • You took the official A2 Inburgering exam and did not pass one or more parts: speaking, listening, reading, writing, or KNM
  • You can provide official proof of the exam result (see below)
  • You contact us within 60 days of the exam date

How to Request a Refund

  1. Email us at hello@dutchwithjoost.com
  2. Include:
    • Your full name
    • The email address linked to your account
    • A screenshot or PDF of your official DUO exam result showing which parts were failed
  3. We may invite you to a short video call (or chat) to:
    • Confirm your eligibility
    • Get to know your experience
    • Answer any questions or provide support

Proof requirements: Only official documents issued by DUO or the exam authority are accepted. The document must clearly show the date, your result, and which sections were failed.

Submitting false or edited documents will void eligibility and may result in permanent account suspension.

We will never ask for your ID or sensitive personal data. We follow GDPR standards, and exam result documents are sufficient for verification.

What Happens If You're Refunded

  • Your refund will be issued to your original payment method
  • Processing time: 7-10 business days
  • Your subscription will be immediately canceled once the refund is processed
  • You'll lose access to the app and your account will be closed after the refund is complete
